HEO Minor Salutes Cyril Leeder

HEO Minor would like to express gratitude to Cyril Leeder for all that he has meant to Minor Hockey in our Branch.

Cyril was one of the three principals, along with Bruce Firestone and Randy Sexton, that brought  the Senators into the NHL.  In the years that Cyril has been involved with the team he was also a tireless worker in the community, not just sports related but in every aspect of the City.

Most important to us is Cyril's contribution to Minor hockey with his establishment of one of the formost tournaments in history, the Bell Capital Cup which annually attracts in the range of 400 to 500 teams and has provided millions of dollars in donations to Roger's House, the Sens Foundation and numerous Minor Hockey Associations.

Cyril we thank you will all our heart and wish you the best in your next endeavors.  We know that you will do well and hope that we can still benefit from your passion.
